1.ª Conferência Sindical Nacional sobre os problemas da Mulher Trabalhadora, que se realizou no salão magno da Voz do Operário, com a participação de 800 delegados e delegadas e 300 convidados. Foram aprovados nesta conferência dois documentos importantes: o apelo às mulheres trabalhadoras portuguesas e a Carta Reivindicativa. A conferência foi encerrada com a intervenção de Manuel Carvalho da Silva, em nome do Secretariado da CGTP-IN.
