History
A Federação Intersindical da Metalurgia, Metalomecânica, Minas, Química, Farmacêutica, Petróleo e Gás (FEQUIMETAL) foi constituída em 1999, em resultado da fusão entre a Federação dos Sindicatos da Química, Farmacêutica, Petróleo e Gás (FEQUIFA) e a Federação dos Sindicatos de Metalurgia, Metalomecânica e Minas de Portugal (FSMMMP). Foi uma estrutura intermédia sectorial da CGTP-IN que integrou sindicatos da metalurgia, metalomecânica, química e farmacêutica, indústria mineira.
